Yakubu Alhassan, MSc, is a PhD candidate in Public Health Biostatistics at the University of Ghana. He has over 8 years’ experience in quantitative data management. His expertise centers on epidemiological modeling, geospatial analysis, and health metrics.  

He has extensive familiarity with data sources such as Demographic Health Surveys (DHS), Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS), District Health Information System 2 (DHIS2), and World Bank indicators, along with analytical methods encompassing longitudinal (survival and panel), cross-sectional, case-control, geospatial mapping, and questionnaire design/implementation. His advanced training includes machine and deep learning for health data science using R and Python, Bayesian statistics (with honors), applied data science (with honors), clinical trials design and interpretation, and mathematical biostatistics.
